Buffalo food tendencies:
- Our pizza is heavy on sauce, and pretty heavy on cheese. Many toppings are available.
- We put bleu cheese dressing on our wings but don’t let that stop you from asking for ranch or whatever pleases you.
- There is an endless discussion over whether The Anchor Bar or Duff’s have the best wings. The Anchor Bar adds Tabasco Sauce to Frank’s Hot Sauce, Duff’s does not. Duff’s wings are bigger, and tend to be juicy. If you prefer them less juicy, you’ll have to ask for crispy.
- Buffalo Tex/Mex is its own thing.
- There are foods you may want to take home:
  - Buffalonians love to argue whether Sahlen’s hot dogs or Wardynski’s are better.
  - Weber’s horse radish mustard is a local specialty that former residents buy by the case to take other places.
  - Chiavetta’s chicken barbecue sauce is another favorite.
  - Frank’s Hot Sauce is the primary secret to wings in Buffalo, and the hot sauce is not available everywhere.
