Cheryl Ntumy

Cheryl Ntumy has accepted our invitation to be Virtual Guest of Honor at the 2024 North American Science Fiction Convention (NASFiC) in Buffalo, New York on July 18-21. Cheryl is a Ghanaian writer (currently living in Burundi) who dabbles in everything from speculative fiction to romance, with several novels out.  She is a member of The Sauúti Collective, a group of African writers who have created a shared, Afrocentric speculative fiction universe, where other writers and creators can play.  The first Sauútiverse anthology, Mothersound, edited by Wole Talabi, is out now, published by Android Press. Cheryl’s featured story “The Way of Baa’gh” was among the works nominated for a British Science Fiction Association Award 2024.

We’re looking forward to hearing from, and talking with, Cheryl Ntumy this July!
